We are going to be expanding our class schedule on a trial basis, effective the Week of Monday August 12th.

The new schedule can be downloaded on THIS PDF. ZenPlanner and our online schedule is now updated to reflect these changes. As always, the online schedule is available at www.tcstrength.com/schedule

FAQS (LAST UPDATED 2019-08-07)

What’s with the new class nomenclature?
LF30 = LiteFit (same as before). CF60 = CrossFit (same as before). TW45 – TeamWOD, same as before, but 45min blocks so we can spread out our busiest class of the week! LM45 = new class/program! See below.

What is LM45?
That’s our new class offering we’re trying out! Lift & Move. It is a 45min Class. LM45 offers daily strength and skill training along with a fun and effective metcon-style workout. LM45 will incorporate daily strength-based movements with a workout to build a solid foundation. The movements and workouts in LM45 will focus squarely on building a strong base and providing daily exposure to strength training. LM45 athletes will learn how to squat, press, pull, and clean through daily strength progressions. Athletes will also gain exposure to common bodyweight, gymnastic, and monostructural movements. If you are newer to this style of training, this program is a fantastic introduction to complexity, loading, and variance. If you are more advanced, LM45 will help develop mechanics, consistency, and intensity in foundational strength and moderately complex movements.

What does “CD” mean beside the 5:15/5:30am Classes?
“Coach-Dependent”. We will be offering those classes on a regular basis, but on occasion if our main early morning coach is not available, we will not be asking other staff to fill in. If there is going to be a day where we’re not offering a regular 5:15/5:30am class, we’ll send out notice way ahead of time.

Do I need to reserve a spot in a class?
Yes. We ask that you do that for our new 5:15/5:30am classes. For the rest of the schedule you don’t “have to” yet, but eventually we are going to ask that all members reserve a spot in classes. Please get into the habit so you’re ready when we roll that out! You can do that online or through the mobile ZenPlanner app. You will still need to “click in” at the kiosk upon arrival.

Can I do a Free Trial of these classes?
You can do a free trial of a LF30 at anytime. Do do a free trial of our other classes, you must book a consult first.

Is this new schedule permanent?
In short, maybe! At a minimum, we are going to give this a go until Monday October 21st. This will provide us enough time to “work the kinks out” and get enough attendance data to see what is worth keeping and what needs to be tweaked. The sustainability of these changes will hinge on attendance/usage.

What if I really like a new timeslot, but I’m the only one showing up to it?
We need consistent numbers to justify class space – if you like something recruit your friends or fellow members to fill in some timeslots!

Why did you cut into evening Open Gym time?
First and foremost, we are a group-class gym. We are proud to offer a ton of Open Gym time compared to a lot of CrossFit gyms and we will continue to do so. Our attendance in our classes has been very consistent for the past few months, but our Open Gym in the evening has taken a considerable dip. We think we provide better membership value with class offerings anyway, and we want to see our space utilized for group fitness as much as possible.

LF30 Class on Sunday - is that a typo?
That is not a typo! Yes we think getting Sunday started with a relatively chill 30min workout will be great! See you there.

Youth Fitness Saturdays?
This will be on a sessional basis. Tentatively ages 10-14. More information coming on that!
